Kim is a Baltimore native and like so many others, she has always enjoyed working with animals. She finds it both challenging and rewarding since veterinary patients can’t talk and it often requires the use of all five senses to provide great care.
She has worked in veterinary medicine for over four decades and has worn many hats during that time. Her experience in this field includes phlebotomy, assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, running diagnostics, assisting with dentals, customer service, leadership, and more. When you don’t see Kim at the hospital in Ellicott City, she enjoys getting together with friends, fishing and crabbing, as well as traveling.
Kim’s favorite quote is, “Until you have loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
