Dr. Shawn Budge
Managing Veterinarian / Partner

Dr. Shawn Budge is a veterinarian based in Towson who was born and raised in Maryland. He is known for his compassionate and devoted care of his patients. Additionally, he has received praise for his ability to explain various treatment options to his clients, so that they can make the most informed possible medical decisions for the health of their pets.
Dr. Budge developed a love of animals from an early age. He grew up in Westminster, Maryland surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. He has been working closely with animals in the veterinary field for the last 10 years, first as a veterinary technician, and later as a doctor of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Budge is a graduate of the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, located at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. His medical interests include surgery, pathology, neurology, and toxicology.
Dr. Budge started HomeVets together with his wife Anna in 2020 with the goal of helping make the veterinary experience better for pets, owners and the animal health care team.
When Dr. Budge is not working as a veterinarian and caring for his four-legged patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing with his two dogs, and gardening at his home in Towson, Maryland.
Dr. Brittany Wolfe
Medical Director / Partner

Dr. Wolfe graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2020 in the top ten percent of her class. She quickly gained an excellent reputation working for a large and busy animal hospital in Anne Arundel County. Her background is both robust and diverse, as she works on traditional small animals (dogs and cats) in addition to exotic animals such as birds, reptiles, and small mammals such as rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs! Dr. Wolfe is also fear-free certified and is committed to providing her patients and clients with the best possible veterinary care experience.
During veterinary school Dr. Wolfe took an active leadership role, and was the Vice President and cofounder of the Radiology Club, the lab coordinator for the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Club, the Lab Coordinator of the Exotic Animals Club, and a member of the Pathology Club.
Dr. Wolfe is the Medical Director and first Partner vet at HomeVets. She has helped shape the direction of the practice and has allowed us to expand our services and provide better care to our patients.
Having grown up in Severna Park, Maryland, Dr. Wolfe has a love for all that Maryland has to offer, especially the Chesapeake Bay and Maryland Blue Crabs! She now lives in Columbia, Maryland with her husband, Tom, and their 2 dogs (Sundae and River), their cat named Beau, and Peaches their hognose snake. In her free time Dr. Wolfe enjoys hiking, baking, and ceramics.
Aimee Brulatour
Practice Manager

Aimee was born and raised in Maine surrounded by animals including dogs, cats and horses.
She has spent the majority of her adult years traveling the country and following opportunities that have allowed her to learn and grow in the veterinary industry and its communities. She came to HomeVets in 2021 with over twelve years of experience in the veterinary industry!
She started with HomeVets while living in Maryland, but she now resides in Port Saint Lucie, Florida! She really enjoys working remotely.
When Aimee is not busy behind the scenes keeping HomeVets running smoothly, she can be found enjoying time with her family, thrift shopping, and playing in the pool!
Jordan Klaff
Lead Trainer and Veterinary Nurse

Jordan has always been interested in veterinary medicine and loves marine biology. She moved to South Carolina after college in 2008, and then relocated to New York City in 2012. After residing in the city for a year, she realized the necessity of pet care within the Brooklyn, NY area and started her own dog walking/pet care business. Missing family, she relocated back to Maryland in 2016 and was given the opportunity as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Towson, MD.
With the love of science and the rewarding feeling of helping animals, she quickly realized her calling and went back to school to obtain an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology to work as a registered Veterinary Technician/Nurse.
Jordan comes with extensive knowledge in anesthesia, orthopedics, as well as senior care. She’s very passionate about animal rehabilitation, as well as anatomy and physiology, and client care/patient care. She values the bonds she can make not only with the animals, but with their families!
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and their 9 year old collie mix, Morgan (aka the “squirrel hunter”), as well as watching marine life documentaries.
Sarah Shortt
Lead Surgery Nurse

Sarah was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. From the age of ten years old, Sarah knew she wanted to work with animals. She started with pet sitting and then worked at a local animal rescue shelter where she helped dogs regain their trust in humans. Sarah then became a veterinary nurse and fell in love with a job where she could help provide medical care for animals.
She joined HomeVets in 2021 where she has continued to developed skills her skills in blood collection, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring and more. With a passion for learning and providing excellent care to our pets, Sarah is always looking for ways to expand her skillset.
In her personal time, Sarah loves cuddling with her cats, Misty, Prince, and Dracula (Drac for short). She enjoys exploring and enjoying the culture of Baltimore City with friends, watching movies, and cooking!
Jenny Krista
Remote Client Relations Specialist and Veterinary Nurse

Jenny joined HomeVets during the 2023 expansion to add Patapsco Valley HomeVets Hospital. She has over two decades of experience with small animal medicine and in various leadership roles within the industry. You may see her with Dr Budge on the road, with Dr Wolfe in surgery, or at the new hospital in Ellicott City assisting with the day-to-day operations.
Jenny grew up in Illinois, but has been in Maryland for the entirety of her professional career. While she is not working one of her many HomeVets hats, she enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and crafting! Her skill versatility has, and will continue, to lend itself to the growth and success of HomeVets and the industry itself.
Marcus Stader
Relief Veterinary Nurse

Marcus is from Santiago, Chile.
He has been a veterinary nurse for 12 years and joined HomeVets in 2020 when it was just an idea! He recently launched his own business, Charm City Veterinary Nurses, a mobile technician service, in Baltimore.
He is a Certified Dog Trainer and Certified Veterinary Assistant. While he is not filling in for HomeVets, or helping pets around the city, he is a full-time student at Towson majoring in Psychology.
He is also a classically trained, local musician and multi-instrumentalist who writes and composes music.
In the small amount of free time he has left, he enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with his dogs and spending time exploring outside and being on the water.
Alex Liberto
Veterinary Assistant – Hospital

Alex joined HomeVets as an assistant during the PVVH acquisition in June 2023.
Alex grew up in Baltimore and as a child had always had a love for learning about and helping animals. Alex spiked a profound interest in veterinary medicine after visiting his uncle’s veterinary hospital, Lake Forest Animal Hospital. He had the exciting opportunity to help around the clinic and watch surgeries. He continued volunteering at the animal hospital during the summers.
Over the last 2 years while working as a veterinary assistant at Patapsco Valley Veterinary Hospital, Alex has greatly expanded his knowledge and skill sets in animal medicine and health.
He is currently pursuing a degree in Biology at The Community College of Baltimore County, with aspirations of continuing his education at a four-year University in the field of neuroscience.
Kimberly Wolfe
Client Relations Specialist – Hospital

Kim joined HomeVets as an Client Relations Specialist during the PVVH acquisition in June 2023.
Kim is a Baltimore native and like so many others, she always enjoyed working with animals. She says it’s challenging and rewarding since our patients can’t talk and it often requires the use of all five senses to provide great care.
She has worked in veterinary medicine for over four decades and has worn many hats during that time. Her experiences in this field includes phlebotomy, assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, running diagnostics, assisting with dentals, customer service, leadership, and more. She also offered pet sitting, basic grooming , administering medications as side work.
When you don’t see Kim at the hospital in Ellicott City, she enjoys getting together with friends, fishing and crabbing, as well as traveling.
Kim’s favorite quote is, “Until you have loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”
April Jordan
Client Relations Specialist – Hospital

April joined HomeVets as a Client Relations Specialist during the PVVH acquisition in June 2023.
April was born and raised in Catonsville. She has always been an animal lover and when she was young, she used to bring home hurt or lost animals often, much to her mother’s dismay! Once she was older, she started fostering kittens for the Baltimore Humane Society for a few years. She is looking forward to being able to continue doing that.
Prior to joining what was Patapsco Valley Veterinary Hospital, she worked for many years in large healthcare companies and private doctors offices as a Credentialing Specialist.
April’s favorite hobby is reading and she sprinkles in a little cartoon tv with her two adopted cats, Tucker and Puffy. She enjoys traveling to places like Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach with her boyfriend and her family. She has two adopted cats, Tucker and Puffy.
Mary Miller

Mary joined HomeVets during the PVVH acquisition in June 2023 as an interim Data Entry Specialist.
