Emergency Visit – $150
If your pet is in need of immediate care, you may request that the doctor come to your home on an emergency basis. Depending on the urgency of the situation, the doctor may refer you to a brick-and-mortar emergency facility for the treatment of your pet.
*Please note that HomeVets has a $50 24-hour cancellation fee. We understand that sometimes a pet’s condition may deteriorate and requires emergency care. If this occurs you may call and have your appointment changed to an emergency visit, and if we cannot accommodate your needs we will wave the cancellation fee.
Telemedicine – $60
Sometimes a pet’s condition does not require a physical visit with the doctor. In these cases, the doctor will provide you with the option to use telemedicine to discuss your pet’s diagnosis and treatment plan. This option provides increased convenience for clients and saves both time and money. If a telemedicine appointment proves to be unsuccessful and a follow-up physical exam is required, the cost of the telemedicine visit will be subtracted from the in-person exam fee.
*please note that federal law requires that the doctor has already established a relationship with the patient via an in-person physical exam in order for telemedicine to be used.
For more information about the areas we serve, please see this map of our service areas.
Case Management Consultation – $65
In conjunction with a standard wellness exam, the doctor will provide you with an in-depth evaluation and discussion of ongoing diagnoses and treatment plans. This service is ideal for clients seeking a second opinion, or those who want to discuss their long-term wellness goals for their pet and would like assistance in developing a wellness and/or treatment plan.
Home Euthanasia – $250-700
When the time comes, our veterinarian will come to your home to put your animal to sleep in the most calm and comfortable way possible.
Our prices are determined by the size of your pet and your preferences for after-life care. We offer both communal and private cremation services. Private cremation includes the return of your pet’s ashes in an engraved wooden urn. Paw print impressions are available upon request.
We understand that euthanasia is an incredibly difficult decision for many pet owners. They wonder how they will know when the time is right, and what signs to look for from their beloved pet. Our veterinarian is able to consult with clients regarding making this difficult decision. We have also included a helpful video here that provides information on how to know when the time is right.
